Harvest Christian School offers a high standard of education from Grade 00 to Grade 7. Classes are limited to 20 learners per class.
We offer the required subjects from Grade R to Grade 7, including Bible Education, Computers and Music.
We offer our learners a loving, nurturing, interactive and stimulating environment, small classes, education through qualified and dedicated Christian teachers. We endeavour to teach from a Biblical Worldview perspective. Our campus has adequate playgrounds and equipment and ample classrooms. Our computer centre is fully equipped and offers learners the opportunity to get to grips with the worlds of information and technology.
Extramural Activities
We provide opportunities for learners to discover and develop their God-given talents and gifts.
We offer the following indoor and outdoor sports:
Soccer, cricket, netball, athletics, volleyball, swimming and chess. In addition to these we also have mini-netball, and mini-soccer for the younger children. Children may also take part in playball, Monkeynastics, mini-tennis and tennis. These are offered by other providers.
We also offer an excellent After-Care service.
Support and training in extramural activities such as music, choir, variety shows and plays are offered to our learners. Our learners who have taken part in the Alberton Eisteddfod, throughout the years, have achieved exceptionally well. Many have achieved exceptionally well. Many have achieved Diplomas and have been Item Winners in their specific genre. We have always had entries for art, choral verse, all kinds of music items and poetry.
Our school serves the Community through our Royal Servants program. Learners belong to the Royal Servants. The Royal Servants group visits orphanages, Old Age Homes, hospitals and also does mission work. This equips our learners to become unselfish and teaches them to serve.
Harvest is a school where every child's individual potential is harvested and where children are happy and contented. A strong ethic is instilled into each child.
